At the heart of the Celestial Tourbillon lies the L.1T caliber, a reengineered automatic movement developed over three years to make one of watchmaking’s most prestigious complications more accessible. Built on a modified Japanese automatic architecture derived from the Miyota 8215 movement, it was extensively reworked into an authentic 4Hz Tourbillon beating at 28,800 vph. Composed of over 200 components, it rotates continuously at 6 o’clock, combining mechanical artistry with everyday wearability and lasting reliability.

Black Onyx, the most iconic variety of agate,
is a naturally occurring stone known for its deep, uniform black surface. Revered for centuries in art and craftsmanship, it appears carved from pure darkness. Its polished finish absorbs light completely, allowing the exposed Tourbillon to appear suspended in a void with no beginning and no end. Mirror-like in depth, the stone brings strength, focus, protection, and a refined intensity to this masterpiece.

The Caliber L.1T was extensively reworked into an authentic 4Hz tourbillon. Its balance, pallet fork, and escape wheel were newly engineered to operate within a one-minute rotating cage.
